This specification covers the minimum performance and material requirements for resilient connectors used for connections between reinforced concrete tanks used for septic effluent treatment/detention. All materials shall be suitable for use in sanitary sewage applications. Each connector design shall be tested in accordance with the requirements specified. The following test methods shall be performed: straight alignment; axial deflection; and shear loading.
