Táto medzinárodná norma určuje spektrometrickú metódu stanovenia množstva dusičnanov a dusitanov v mäsových výrobkoch a je platná pre rôzne mäsové výrobky, ktoré obsahujú od 9 mg/kg do 22 mg/kg dusitanov prepočítaných na dusitan sodný a od 23 mg/kg do 48 mg/kg dusičnanov prepočítaných na dusičnan sodný.
