Die AG B 126-3 wurde vom SET 7 mit der Erstellung von UIC-Merkblatt Nr. 548 beauftragt, welches das Zertifizierungsverfahren für Bremsprüfstände für die Zulassungsversuche von Bremssohlen und -belägen beschreibt, die ihrerseits respektive in UIC-Merkblatt Nr. 541-4 und 541-3 spezifiziert sind.

Der vorliegende Bericht liefert die Grundlagen und wesentlichen Begründungen für die Bestimmungen aus UIC-Merkblatt Nr. 548.
