The present IRS sets out a coding system for various elements (ILUs - Intermodal Loading Units, wagons and lines) to facilitate and streamline Combined Transport (CT).
This coding is designed to ensure the compatibility of ILUs with the permissible profile for Combined Transport lines.
The provisions in the present IRS aim to facilitate ILU identification and are applicable to:
semi-trailers,
swap bodies,
roller units.
