Diese ÖNORM dient zur Beurteilung der Gehalte folgender Elemente im Feinboden (< 2 mm) und im Auflagehumus: Arsen (As), Blei (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Chrom (Cr), Kobalt (Co), Kupfer (Cu), Molybdän (Mo), Nickel (Ni), Quecksilber (Hg), Selen (Se), Thallium (Tl), Uran (U), Vanadium (V), Zink (Zn). Diese Elemente kommen in allen Böden natürlich vor. Gehaltsabhängig können sie aber auch negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt haben.
