Diese Europäische Norm legt das von Dumas entwickelte Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Gesamt-Stickstoffs (organisch und anorganisch) in Schlamm, behandeltem Bioabfall und Boden fest. Eine typische Nachweisgrenze liegt bei 0,02 % Stickstoff und eine typische Bestimmungsgrenze liegt bei 0,08 % Stickstoff.
