Annotation of standard text ÖNORM EN 3386 :

This standard defines the characteristics of radial mounting retaining rings, in steel, phosphated, for aerospace applications. These retaining rings are used only when EN 3384 cannot be used for installation problems. The phosphating restricts the use at temperatures not exceeding 200 °C. Diese Sicherungsringe werden nur verwendet, wenn EN 3384 aufgrund von Installationsproblemen nicht angewandt werden kann. Die Phosphatbeschichtung beschränkt die Verwendung auf Temperaturen von nicht mehr als 200 °C.
