Diese Europäische Norm legt feste Steckverbinder der Größe 3 für Einschubanwendungen, die in der Familie der modularen, elektrischen und optischen Rechtecksteckverbinder mit rechteckigen Kontakteinsätzen verwendet werden, fest. Der diesem festen Steckverbinder entsprechende freie Steckverbinder ist in EN 4644-131 definiert.
