Festgelegt sind die Maße und mechanischen Eigenschaften sowie Anwendungsdaten für offene Blindniete mit Sollbruchdorn und Flachkopf, mit einer Niethülse aus nicht rostendem austenistischem Stahl (A2) und einem Nietdorn aus nicht rostendem austenistischem Stahl (A2). Die Festlegungen gelten für den Nenndurchmesserbereich von 3 mm bis 5 mm.
