Tato evropská norma specifikuje obecnou metodu pro stanovení komplexně vázaných stopových živin v hnojivech komplexotvornými činidly. Metoda umožňuje stanovení celkové koncentrace každé komplexně vázané stopové živiny v komplexu po odečtení obsahu chelatovaných stopových živin, ale neidentifikuje jednotlivá komplexotvorná činidla. Tento postup se týká hnojiv ES uvedených v nařízení (ES) 2003/2003, která obsahují komplexně vázané stopové živiny. Metoda je použitelná pro hmotnostní podíl komplexně vázaných kovů od 0,07 %, 0,006 % a 0,035 % pro Fe, Mn a Zn (viz [2]). Pro stanovení Cu a Co nebyl spodní limit stanovitelnosti prokázán
