Die Annotation des Normtextes ČSN EN 1622 (757330):
Tato evropská norma specifikuje kvantitativní metody stanovení prahového čísla pachu (TON) a prahového čísla chuti (TFN) ve vodách a také kvalitativní metodu stanovení abnormálního pachu popřípadě chuti. Jsou popsány dvě kvantitativní metody:
- - zkrácená metoda, která se použije, pokud vzorek buď nevykazuje žádný pach nebo chuť, nebo mají-li se pach a chuť porovnávat se specifickým prahovým číslem;
- - úplná metoda, která se použije, má-li být určeno prahové číslo vzorku.
Pro obě kvantitativní metody jsou popsány dvě odlišné metodologie, metoda nenucené volby a metoda nucené volby. Obě metody lze použít ke kvantitativnímu vyjádření pachu a chuti pitné vody, popř. i vodných výluhů pocházejících z materiálů, které byly v kontaktu s vodou
