IEC 61158-4-11:2014 specifies procedures for: the timely transfer of data and control information from one data-link user entity to a peer user entity, and among the data-link entities forming the distributed data-link service provider; procedures for giving communications opportunities to all participating DL entities, sequentially and in a cyclic manner for deterministic and synchronized transfer at cyclic intervals up to one millisecond; procedures for giving communication opportunities available for time-critical data transmission together with non-time-critical data transmission without prejudice to the time-critical data transmission; procedures for giving cyclic and acyclic communication opportunities for time-critical data transmission with prioritized access; procedures for giving communication opportunities based on standard ISO/IEC 8802-3 medium access control, with provisions for nodes to be added or removed during normal operation and the structure of the fieldbus DLPDUs used for the transfer of data and control information by the protocol of this standard, and their representation as physical interface data units. This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition published in 2010 and constitutes a technical revision. The main changes are: Subclauses 4.6.1, 4.6.4 and 5.4.6, Clause 6 and 7.2 for the loop-architecture are modified to cover the additional specifications for the higher data rate in the loop-architecture. LIEC 61158-4-11:2014 specifie les procedures pour le transfert en temps utile de donnees et dinformations de commande dune entite dutilisateur de liaison de donnees vers une entite dutilisateur homologue, et parmi les entites de liaison de donnees formant le fournisseur de service de liaison de donnees distribue; les procedures permettant a toutes les entites DL participantes de communiquer, de maniere sequentielle et cyclique dans le cadre dun transfert deterministe et synchronise, a intervalles cycliques dune milliseconde au maximum; les procedures permettant a la transmission de donnees prioritaires de communiquer avec une transmission de donnees non prioritaires, sans prejudice pour la premiere; les procedures permettant a la transmission de donnees prioritaires de communiquer de maniere cyclique et acyclique, avec un acces en priorite; les procedures permettant dassurer la communication en fonction du controle dacces au support ISO/CEI 8802-3, avec des dispositions relatives aux n uds a ajouter ou retirer pendant le fonctionnement normal; et la structure des DLPDU du bus de terrain utilisee pour le transfert de donnees et dinformations de commande par le protocole de la presente norme, et leur representation comme unites de donnees dinterface physique. Cette troisieme edition annule et remplace la deuxieme edition, parue en 2010. Elle constitue une revision technique. Les modifications principales sont: les Paragraphes 4.6.1, 4.6.4 et 5.4.6, lArticle 6 et 7.2 pour larchitecture en boucle ont ete modifies pour couvrir les specifications supplementaires relatives au debit de donnees plus eleve dans larchitecture en boucle.
