This document has been prepared to provide infrastructure managers with guidelines to better manage the assessment of overhead contact lines (OCLs) and the interaction between OCLs and pantographs, as well as the evaluation of current collection quality, the requirements of on-board and ground measuring systems, the procedures to be applied during testing, and the method of presenting the test results.
This document is based on the interoperability requirements given by the European legal framework, such as TSI Energy and CENELEC standards, and further technical requirements given by the relevant IEC standards.
