BSi – die Gesellschaft BSi British Standards ist eine nationale Standardisierungsbehörde in Großbritannien (NSB) und als solche war sie die erste in der Welt. Sie vertritt wirtschaftliche und gesellschaftliche Interessen von Großbritannien in allen europäischen und internationalen Standardisierungsorganisationen auch im Rahmen der Entwicklung neuer Lösungen von betrieblichen Informationen für britische Organisationen aller Größen und Branchen. Die Gesellschaft BSi British Standards arbeitet mit Produktionsindustrie sowie mit Dienstleistungsindustrie, mit Betrieben, Regierungen und Verbrauchern zusammen, um die Bildung der britischen, europäischen und internationalen Normen zu erleichtern. Ein Bestandteil der Organisation BSI Group, die Gesellschaft BSI British Standards, arbeitet mit der Regierung Großbritanniens eng zusammen, insbesondere mittels der Abteilung für Innovationen, Universitäten und Fertigkeiten (DIUS).
